I am the misery angel,
The one wishing for death,
For himself, for others,
Unkempt, unclean,
Dishonored,
Pained in my every dream...

I am the misery wildcat,
A creature built in darkness,
Black fur, a black hat,
Uncouth, unshapen,
Festered,
Pestilence covering my descent...

I am the misery man,
Ebbing and brimming with gleam,
Sleeping in pain, waking to nothing,
Unrequited, unaccepted,
Rejected,
I'm 'bout ready to jump in the grave...
