Imagine
Please,
please take me away.
Free me
from just another dreary day.
All I see
is grey and dry…
The cause, living a sour life.
“I can do
that.”
Came
a voice from inside.
You need
a world where all things are pure,
A world where hardship and pain need not be endured.
Now don’t
worry though, your not going in alone,
Fear will
be there, and she can hit home.
“But how
can I?” I ask.
“Rules
here, they don’t apply.”
Can I do
things, just on a whim?
Control
the seas, even the wind?
What
about the abstract, could I be a beltbuckle?
Could I
be a toy, a star, or that one ray of light?
“You’ve
got the idea. Just one thing left to do.”
“Close
your eyes and open your mind.”
